CULTIVATION PROCESS
Aconitum hetrophyllum
Aconitum hetrophyllum is Himalayan medicinal plants excess harvesting from wild. It has been endangered. Therefor our company cultivate this medicinal plants in our own herbal farm.
Atropa belladonna
Atropa belladonna, commonly known as belladonna. It is Himalayan origin plant due to climate change it is extinct in the forest of Himachal Pradesh. So we import belladonna seed from Germany for cultivation.
Digitalis purpurea
Digitalis purpurea is a species of flowering plant in the plantago family Plantaginaceae, It is European garden plant some time its leaves is used for medicine.
Picrorhiza kurroa
Picrorhiza kurroa comman name is Kutaki. Due to excess harvesting it has been endangered in Himalayan forest. So we are cultivating it.
Podophyllum hexandrum
Podophyllum hexandrum common name is bankakdi. It is Himalayan origin plant. It is perennial herb not easy for cultivation. We propagate it by seed and root cutting .
Saussurea costus
Saussurea costus, is commonly known as costus and kuth. It is a perennial herb . We harvest it after three years . We propagate it only by seed .
In low altitude or rainy area’s its quality is not good . These plants require cold dry zone climate . So we select an high altitude area for cultivation such as Lahoul valley . This valley helps us in production of high quality herbs.

Symphytum officinale (comfrey) is not Himalayan plant . But we succeeded to cultivate it . Himalayan origin comfrey also contains good (pyrrolizidine alkaloids) leaves and root are used for medicine.
